Pakistani Doctors to Australia
Complete guide for MBBS and FCPS graduates to practice medicine in Australia through the AMC pathway
Overview for Pakistani Medical Graduates
Pakistan is one of the top source countries for International Medical Graduates (IMGs) seeking to practice in Australia. With a strong medical education system and many PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) recognized institutions, Pakistani doctors are well-positioned to succeed in the AMC examination pathway.
Whether you've completed your MBBS from institutions like Aga Khan, King Edward Medical University, or Dow Medical College, or hold an FCPS qualification, the path to Australian medical registration follows a clear process through the AMC. Many Pakistani doctors have successfully made this transition and now practice across Australia.
